Old Fireplace Opened

Old fireplace opened up to make way for new clearview vision 500 with slate log store

Here we opened up the fireplace to the desired size for the customers choice of stove, we added a concrete load bearing lintel and oak faced for a safe but authentic look. The internal cheeks of the fireplace were rendered to prevent future cracking from the heat. For finishing touches we created a log store in the place of an old cupboard and plastered the face of the fireplace.
