A Clearview Vision 500 with low canopy installed with flexible liner system and added precautionarty protection of wooden lintel

The use of a canopy with this install helped the stove fill the fireplace but not exceed the KW needed for the room. There is a danger of oversizing a stove just to fill the space. When any fireplace has a wooden lintel we go over and above to protect from fire risk, here we used 25mm fireboard with an air gap of 10mm. Building regulations recommend 12mm fireboard. We also added insulation around the enamel flue to further reduce the risk of fire. These precautions allow our customers to sleep soundly knowing there is no risk of fire.
