We offer free home surveys where we discuss requirements and designs of your potential wood burning stove & chimney system. This would then be followed up by a fully itemised quotation.

2. Choose Your Solution
One of the key decisions to be made is the correct sizing of the stove, the very last thing you want is an under or oversized stove. To correctly size a wood-burner a number of variables have to be taken into account, the only way to do this is undergo a site survey from one of our engineers, we have a number of questions that we run through to calculate the size wood-burner needed. Once an ideal kw output has been confirmed the next stage is to design an efficient flue system. The performance of the stove largely depends on the efficiency and design of the chimney. During the site survey we will outline the potential flue designs available and match with the budget presented.

Typically an install takes between one and two days. We begin by protecting the working area with hardboard and dust sheets this ensures we leave the area clean and free from damage. The next stage is to gain safe access to the roof and chimney and perform chimney integrity test in accordance with Document J, a successful test enables us to begin the install of the flue system. We pride ourselves on using materials that hold at least a ten-year warranty.

4. Testing Perfection
Once the stove and flue system have been installed successfully the stove is then tested and commissioned by one of our HETAS engineers. We leave every customer with the full knowledge of how to use their new wood burning stove in a safe and efficient manner, a follow up appointment is then made which involves
checking over the stove, sweeping the chimney and setting up a stove and flue maintenance programme.
